Our History

Ave Maria Care was established to provide high quality, person centred Home Care and Support to elderly people in our communities.

After searching for home care and support for a family member and researching the services available in the market, the founders of Ave Maria Care noticed that the standard of care & support being provided was often not up to the standard that our elderly people deserve. It became apparent that visits were often rushed and the person centred approach that we feel should be central to care in all environments was extremely hard to find.

In view of this the founders of Ave Maria Care decided to create a care package tailored specifically to the needs of their family member and using their experience, they carefully selected & employed an individual as a care assistant to deliver the care at set times and periods as required.

This became the foundation of our service principles, which is to treat people as you would like to be treated, through delivering high quality, person centred care and support. Ave Maria was subsequently established to deliver care and support based on these principles, to other people who require the services in our communities.

We are proud to have a solid belief in the dignity, respect and independence of each person and a structure that has at its roots the commitment to “treat people as you would like to be treated”
