Edward Owusu-Ansah – MD/Head of Finance
Edward is a chartered accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). A successful finance practitioner and entrepreneur Edward has had noteworthy success in establishing and growing start up businesses into established commercial enterprises.
Edward has been with Ave Maria Care since it’s inception, he has been an important part of the leadership team, primarily heading up our finance function in his day to day work. Edward has also provided valued commercial input into successful award and mobilisation of the various tenders we have won through his project management experience.
Elizabeth Owusu-Ansah – Head of Care
Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse with 34 years of experience working in the health care industry. Elizabeth also has a Masters degree in Health Development, she was also a finalist for the National Dementia Award in 2009, the national award was for innovation in practice of dementia care.
Elizabeth developed a diet management system for people with dementia. The diet management system was published in the journal of dementia care & the nursing & residential care journal in 2009. In her most recent position before becoming Head of Care at Ave Maria, Elizabeth was the director of clinical governance for an organisation with over 7000 service users, she developed the quality assurance systems across the organisation which ensured that new sites were successfully registered with the care quality commission & subsequent inspections by the care quality commission were successful.
Elizabeth is a care specialist & her knowledge & abilities are passed on to the Ave Maria care teams through training & development to ensure that team member’s skills are continuously developed & enhanced, aiming to provide a consistent, outstanding level of care & support to our clients.
Elizabeth is in charge of governance on all Care quality and compliance matters, helping to ensure that our care teams consistently deliver high quality services which are compliant with regulations.
Each of our branches has a highly caring, qualified and competent manager in place, to manage the day to day delivery of services to our valued clients. The manager is supported by a team of highly trained staff consisting of care assistants, field care supervisors and administrators. The organisational structure at our branches has been carefully designed to ensure optimum quality and efficiency of services in the environment we work in.
