Sahima’s amazing journey with Ave Maria Care Services began in 2017 when she started as a carer while also studying for her BSc degree in Health Studies at Wolverhampton University, from which she proudly graduated. From her very first day, Sahima has shown a wonderful mix of kindness, professionalism, and hard work. She quickly became a valued member of the team, earning the respect and admiration of both her colleagues and the individuals she served. What truly makes Sahima special is her ability to connect with others. She has a natural talent for understanding how people feel, which allows her to provide care that is both personal and compassionate. Her friendly and warm personality helps build trust, creating a supportive environment where clients and staff feel appreciated and valued. This skill in building strong relationships is a key part of her leadership style, encouraging open communication and teamwork among her colleagues. Sahima has shown impressive strength by successfully balancing her studies with her job. Managing both roles is no easy task, but she has done it with determination and grace. As her potential became clear, Sahima was promoted to more responsible positions such as registered manager role, eagerly taking on new challenges that helped her grow and gain valuable experience in the health and social care field. She completed an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care with Ave Maria Care, which provided her with important skills for effective leadership.

Now, as a Regional Manager, Sahima has truly excelled in her role over the past few years. She oversees the operations of the business and collaborates with registered managers to ensure that Ave Maria maintains its high standards of care and support. Her leadership style emphasises teamwork, empathy, and open communication, creating a positive work environment where her team members can develop their skills and shine.

Sahima’s commitment to learning is evident in her achievements, including completion of a NVQ Level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management with Ave Maria Care. This shows her dedication to growing as a leader and her desire to guide others with integrity and purpose.
