A Regional Manager Journey ( Sam)
Sahima’s Ave Maria Care Journey
Sahima started with Ave Maria Care as a Care Assistant after she graduated from University with a BSC in Health Studies.
From the outset, it was clear to management that Sahima was a caring and talented professional who deeply cared about her clients.
Sahima underwent Ave Maria Care’s learning and development programme by studying her NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and was promoted to a supervisory role shortly afterwards.
As a supervisor Sahima was a valued leader for her colleagues in the community and provided her team with the necessary leadership to deliver good quality care to clients, underpinned by Ave Maria’s ethos, mission statement, polices and procedures.
Within 18 months Sahima completed her level 5 in Health and Social Care leadership and management and was subsequently promoted to managerial roles, eventually working her way up to Registered Manager of our Burntwood Branch.
Under Sahima’s leadership the Burntwood branch achieved good in all areas during its most recent CQC inspection. Sahima and her team at Burntwood achieved several milestones in the branch, particularly around care quality and managed the branch successfully through the COVID 19 pandemic which we consider a great achievement.
Recently, after several year’s managing Burntwood Sahima has been promoted to Regional Manager at Ave Maria Care. A Senior Management position and is now studying her level 7 in Health and Social Care.
Everyone at Ave Maria Care is grateful to Sahima for her service to the company, clients and colleagues and we are extremely proud of what she has achieved! Well done Sam!
